- Experience with people who have different type of disability for eg: Autism and Intellectual Disability or Spinal cord injury.
- Assisting individuals with identifying and achieving their personal goals.
- Accompanying people to health care appointments.
- Personal care including toileting, showering/ bathing, dressing and other personal hygiene tasks.
- Learning and modelling appropriate social skills.
- Assist with personal relationships, community
engagement and developing social networks. - Behaviour support.
- Food Preparation for Clients.
- Follow WHS safety procedures for direct work.
- Provide support to meet personal care needs.
- Deliver care services using a palliative approach.
- Support older person to maintain their independence.
- Provide support to people living with dementia.
- Work effectively with older people.
- Team Work.
