As a Civil engineer, I ensure that design and plans are properly followed according to technical specifications and method of statements, conduct daily inspections as per the approved drawings and design, and prepare quality reports to implement corrective and preventive actions. Currently working part-time as a Patient Service Assistant with NSW Health, I am actively seeking a position that aligns with my professional background in civil engineering. I have the possibility of bringing a unique blend of skills to provide data-driven insights for effective and efficient civil engineering solutions. In my current role, I regularly report to my manager about daily linen stock and any issues that arise throughout the day. I am eager to join an efficient team that values employees who contribute to creating value. Proficient in a broad spectrum of engineering projects, emphasizing residential design and construction. Skilled and experienced in footing designs, including waffle slab, stiffened raft slab, subfloor, and suspended footings, with specific considerations for tree effects and various site conditions per AS2870. Demonstrated expertise in designing structural elements such as lintels, beams, and roof designs (ridge beam and rafter/cathedral roofs) according to AS1720.1 for timber and AS4100 for steel. I have a thorough understanding of construction requirements and challenges within the residential space and am skilled in providing connection detailing while considering buildability and compliance. Competent in wind design assessments, including the wind load analysis on high stud walls and the need for wind beams.
