Summary

I am a young and results-driven lawyer with an interest in family law and wills & estates. I am particular attracted to the parenting aspects of family law, because I feel strongly about the best interests of the children to have a meaningful relationship with both parents post-separation, and protection from family violence.

I have approximately 1.5 years of post qualification experience practising only in family law and wills & estates. I am also known by my colleagues to be well loved by my younger and elderly clients.

I am proficient in drafting affidavits, binding financial agreements, binding child support agreements, loan agreements for family law purposes, minutes of consent orders, and other legal documents.

Work History

Family Lawyer

Maxwell & Co. Barristers And Solicitors

As the sole lawyer practicing in Family Law and Wills & Estates, I am responsible for all matters and enquiries relating to Family Law, Wills and Probate. I also assisted in creating precedents for the firm and the creation of a streamlined intake process for my area of work.

As a majority of my clients spoke a language other than English, I established a strong client base of Mandarin and Cantonese speaking clients. This also allowed me to meet and maintain friendly connection with other multilingual lawyers in practicing in various areas of laws.

Speed Cubing (Rubik's Cube 3x3)

During COVID lockdown, I spent my time learning various formulas to solve a rubiks cube (3x3).

My best record using the LBL (Layer by layer) method is 18.34 seconds.

I also found this hobby as a good and efficient form of stress relief.
