With experience at the World League for the Protection Of Animals and the Pye Farm, I improved my teamwork and collaboration, and work efficiency. The skills and experiences from both university and placements impact me to understand the importance of animal welfare and animal care.
-Feed the cats and clean the cattery to ensure a clean environment.
-Isolate sick cats from healthy cats to avoid the number of infected cats.
-Socialize the kittens to help them have more opportunities to be adopted.
-Understand the vigilance of different cats towards people to reduce the risk of being scratched by cats.
-Check the weight of cattle to better grazing management
-Feed cattle with teammates to improve cooperation and work efficiency
-Help veterinarians treat cattle, such as vaccination, ointment, etc.
