  • This research internship, at the Advanced research lab, Samsung RnD, was aimed at efficient multi-object-tracking for mobile phones
  • I worked on developing, training and evaluating a light-weight and deployable model
  • Integrated the model in a live streaming Website, made using flask and React
  • The model designed achieved near state of the art scores with 80% reduction in model size

  • Worked on improving state of the art on video captioning, the resulting research was published as a paper at ACPR 2019 conference
  • Studied and implemented state of the art techniques from computer vision and natural language processing
  • Developed a novel approach to train deep video captioning models, and provided rigorous experimental study to prove its effectiveness

  • Internship was aimed at making a functional weather-data website and to pre-process weather data for further use.
  • As part of the internship I processed and analysed weather data from Antarctica's data collection centers

  • Analysed correlation between weather conditions, which were used to predict storms and other hazards, and finally used neural networks to make time-series predictions for weather data
