Teaching swimming enhanced my communication and accountability.Students depended on my ability to effectively and efficiently correct their form, supporting their overall development. Clear and precise communication was essential when speaking with parents and children from diverse language backgrounds. In the unpredictable aquatic environment, adaptability to changing scenarios became a
critical skill for maintaining safety and order. Additionally, punctuality was vital, as students relied on consistent lesson times and a dependable routine.

During my period at mcdonalds i developed a range of skills enabling me to become a better and more equipped employee to diligently complete my tasks. Throughout my Maccas journey, I honed and developed skills such as communication between co-workers. Furthermore, I was forced out of my comfort zone to adapt to produce changes on the menu, learning where they were located and how to cook them, to ensure the customers received their meal on time,enabling me to adapt to circumstances and overcome issues. My ability to adapt to change also occurred due to the requirement to help my coworkers if there was an abundance of orders, shifting between my tasks and theirs.

Reffing Basketball enabled me to gain confidence when facing difficult circumstances, such as talking to annoyed parents and explaining to players why a call was made. In addition, a stronger grasp of the importance of communication was developed as I developed good communication skills through conversation between myself and the other refs to ensure that the game ran smoothly. Through reffing, I developed confidence and strengthened my communication, enabling me to become a valuable
employee in the workforce.
