Working on a mine site in Newman WA I am responsible for fitting tyres on cars / trucks / earth moving equipment. I am also on call to attend break downs out in the pit where I drive HR Manual truck.

• Duties:
• Actively promote Kohler petrol and Diesel engines, fostering relationships with various OEMs and dealers who in turn support the mining and oil & gas sectors. Maintain strong working knowledge across sectors.
• Implement cross-selling techniques and conversion strategies to enhance customer retention and drive revenue growth. Provide updates to management team on progression and opportunities.
• Cultivate and expand client networks throughout WA, establishing vital new business connections.
• Offer expert technical guidance and deliver compelling product demonstrations to clients. Train new service agents on how to trouble shoot our EFI and Diesel engine range. Use scan tools and other specialised tools to diagnose OEM equipment.
• Employ diverse approaches, including referral partnerships, cold-calling, and innovative sales methodologies, to secure new business opportunities. Support client base across technical queries and other concerns.
• Assume the role of Safety Officer in New South Wales, overseeing safety protocols across a workshop.
• Conduct thorough safety inspections, including signage evaluations and risk assessments, to maintain a secure working environment. Ensure the availability of adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) in stock.
• Facilitate informative toolbox talks to enhance safety awareness and compliance among the team.
• Maintain and update the training database to ensure the workforce remained well-informed and up-to-date.
