Assisting with Measurements

• Assist in setting up and calibrating surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS equipment, levels, and theodolites.
• Place stakes and markers to outline the location of proposed structures and infrastructure based on survey data and help in marking reference points and lines for construction projects
• Collect distances, angles, and elevations by surveyor instruments.

Data Management

• Assist in preparing reports and keep detailed notes, sketches, and records of survey data and enter collected data into computers

Equipment Maintenance

• Ensure surveying instruments and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Perform routine checks and minor repairs on surveying equipment.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with site surveyors, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate data is provided for project planning and execution.
• Communicate effectively with team members to understand and execute survey requirements.

Learning

• Gain experience in interpreting and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
