Work History

Masters Student

University of Melbourne
01.2023 - Current
  • Theoretical formulation of the copper Kα1,2 spectrum which has lead to compelling evidence for previously undiscovered 3p and 3s satellite spectra through the use of cutting-edge theoretical techniques such as the non-radiative Auger process as well as completely new and original theoretical methods, including ab initio. upper-state lifetime calculations. The resulting theoretically calculated emission spectra is in strong agreement with world leading experimental characteristic radiation spectra.
  • Collaboration and teamwork within the relativistic atomic physics group. This included close collaboration and providing support for PhD students as well as mentoring and teaching newer masters students and undergraduate interns.
  • Achieved First Class Honours in Quantum and Advanced Optics
  • Achieved Second Class Honours in Statistical Mechanics, General Relativity, Condensed Matter Physics and Statistics for Research Workers.

First Year Physics Laboratory Demonstrator

University of Melbourne
03.2023 - 07.2024
  • Contributed to curriculum development efforts by providing input from a practical perspective, enhancing the relevance of course material to real-world applications.
  • Participated in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and industry advancements in laboratory education.
  • Maintained a clean and organized laboratory environment conducive to efficient workflow and productive learning experiences for students.
  • Coordinated logistics such as room reservations or ordering equipment/supplies necessary for successful completion of lab coursework.
