Cylinder Bench

• Recondition Hydraulic Cylinders

Measure internal diameters of cylinder barrels

• Inspect condition of barrel surfaces i.e. crack testing, eye surfaces and an overall inspection for general wear
• Developed proficiency in industry-specific tools and software through hands-on training.

March - June 2020

General Workshop 1

• Recondition of front and rear wheel ends i.e. stripping down of component, measuring bearing areas, crack testing spindles, inspection of brake pack components (Piston, Plates, Discs and Spring Tension).
• Recondition of grader circle drive motors.
• Recondition of Dozer equalizer bars.
• Assisted with recondition of graders tandem housing and final drives.
• Recondition of rear differential housings and A-frames.

June - December 2020

General Workshop 2

• Overhauling of components (D10T, D11T, 785, 789, 793).
• Recondition of track frames.
• Final Drives.
• Idlers and Rollers.
• Stripping down machines for component rebuilds.

January - August 2021

Transmission Bay

• Recondition Transmissions i.e. inspect and measure plate and disc thickness, inspect piston, inspect clutch housings. ( Reaction pin holes, piston mating surfaces, inspect valve components/ assembly)
• Recondition of torque converters i.e. crack test turbine, stator and impeller.
• Recondition of hydraulic gear pumps.
