Summary

As a fourth-year social work student, I am committed and dedicated to advocacy and support of clients to live fulfilling lives utilizing a client-centered and strengths-based approach. I have extensive experience working with children and families in a care-based setting as well as working with complex families and children through Gold Coast Family Centre where I have worked within the Child Safety and Family Court sectors. I have also worked in a private home setting with a variety of young people with disabilities, working to assist with play-based, occupational and speech therapy alongside mutli-disciplinary teams, as well as assisting with school and extra-curricular requirements. Working across these sectors has enhanced my overall ability to build relationships and connections with vastly diverse people and has made me incredibly adaptable and flexible in any role.

I have excellent abilities in building rapport and relationships with people, especially children and youth which would be highly valuable in this role. I am a passionate artist and would love the opportunity to include art within my practice.

I would love the opportunity to continue to expand my knowledge base in a new and exciting environment. I have all relevant checks including an open QLD driver’s license, blue card (WWCC) and NDIS Screener Check.
