Sophie Bahana

I teach piano, violin and music theory privately to both primary and secondary school-aged students. I also work as an associate artist, performing with students for their exams, concerts, and auditions. I pride myself on tailoring my teaching styles and methodology to cater to each individual as well as encouraging intrinsic curiosity, enjoyment and growth mindset in their music-making. I challenge traditional piano technique and push for healthier and more holistic approaches to playing.

A customer service focused role interacting with the local community, processing orders and cash handling responsibilities. Adhering to relevant health and safety procedures, food safety regulations and maintaining a high standard of efficiency and quality within a busy fast food establishment.

Tutoring and mentoring role assisting students one on one through providing feedback and correcting work (consulting with both students and parents). Assisting with lesson planning and preparing materials for the organization and other mentors.
