Clinical placement experience

yarra valley community health: paediatrics 07/08/23/15/10/23

· This was a 4-week clinical placement. I was working with children and families, children aged 0-prep.

· On this placement I completed Family and Child initial forms, Ages and Stages Questionnaire, Observation assessments, clinical notes using the SOAP formula, NDIS referral forms and discharge summaries.

Headspace bentleigh: Early psychosis program 05/02/24-28/03/24

· This was an 8-week clinical placement. I was very fortunate to be working across three teams at Headspace including the MATT (Mobile Assessment Treatment Team), Discovery College and Recovery Groups.

· I worked with young people from the age of 16-25. I led welcome appointments for new young people, sensory profiles, co-facilitated a food explorers’ group, music therapy group and developed and facilitated a social skills group. I completed progress notes in accordance with the agency guidelines and sought regular supervision and feedback.

  • Received a full blue award for volleyball through making the AGSV rep team (Associated Grammar Schools Victoria).
