A well-organized student with proven time management skills, punctuality, ability to work in a team, which developed from school-based groups and casual cleans at companies. I joined the First Aid club in high school, so I could help during sports day. I also co-founded the YAA (Youth Against Aids) club at Hilbright Science College. This was a club that got involved in community work, while also helping to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS. In this club we would also hold fundraisers and help the needy in our community especially at orphanages and disability homes such as Jairos Jiri Disability home. Organising such events involved a lot of critical thinking which is a skilled I now quite understand very well. I understand the importance of working in a team-based environment, while learning from others and developing personal skills. I always enjoy working in a team because I get the chance of learning how to tackle different tasks from different individuals at the same time. I also helped in taking care of my grandmother who had a mild stroke on her right side and became physically challenged for almost 6 months. I am a 1st year Radiography student looking for employment in a position that requires a young, dedicated employee. I am doing this degree, so that I would be able to create a relationship with patients that will be coming for radiation treatment, which is also why I would like to become a support worker. I aim to create a relationship with the people I would be supporting and be there for them whenever possible.
