Trang Nguyen

Hi, my name is Trang Nguyen. Previously, I have had lots of experience with customer service and I am eager to learn and develop more skills.

Working as part of a team has always been my strength, and I thrive in team situations. For example, I am in a guitar ensemble, I have played in my school band for two school musicals and I have been a part of my school’s mock trial, debating and da Vinci Decathlon teams.

As I have completed the IBDP in 2023, I have become more aware and conscious of the world beyond my personal life and I have grown to be a more well-rounded person. During my schooling, I have developed analytical and critical thinking skills which can be applied to day-to-day life. I value open-mindedness and taking risks, accepting of other people and cultures that may seem so different to your own and not being afraid to take the next step forward to, maybe, discover something new.

I would consider myself a creative person, especially in the field of music, having been doing classical guitar since I was 10 years old and winning four scholarships for classical guitar with the Riverina Conservatorium of Music. I enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction books from a variety of genres. Some of my favourite authors are JRR Tolkien, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Agatha Christie, Patrick Radden Keefe and Neil Gaiman. As much as I would like to call myself a sporty person, I’m not too gifted in that area. However, I love to play tennis and swim. Even when it frustrates me and gets difficult, I don’t like to give up.
