Tshering Dekar

I am a highly motivated and driven civil engineer with a strong passion for my work. With over a year of work experience in civil engineering field, I have developed a comprehensive skill set and also has a knowledge on structural design, drafting, cost estimation, monitoring construction works, and project documentation. Moreover, I can use precision tools such as levelling and surveying instruments too. I have keen eye for detail and ensure that every project is meticulously planned and executed.

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to learn and adapt to new situations. I am always open to feedback and suggestions, as I believe that continuous learning is essential for professional growth. I am constantly seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills.

Beyond my professional aspirations, I have a deep-rooted desire to serve the community and contribute to social causes. I believe in the long-term impact of making a positive difference in people’s lives, and I am committed to using my skills and expertise to achieve this.

In summary, I am an ambitious, self-motivated, and dedicated civil engineer with a strong theoretical and practical background. I am eager to take on new challenges, continuously learn, and make a meaningful impact in both my professional and personal endeavors.

• Appreciation award for serving as a project leader from 2018-2019 under the research topic “Assessment on the existing Contractor Classification System in Bhutan and its Modifications” in collaboration with Construction Development Board.
• Secured third rank with 82.5% in class ten during academic year 2012.
• Secured second rank in class eight with 78.2% during academic year 2010.
• Was awarded the title of best story narrator during a story telling contest in grade six.
• Have been an active member in providing services for the smooth functioning of Gross National Happiness Education club.
• Attended a two-day training program conducted by Road Safety Training Program (RSTA).
• Participated in the Police Youth Partnership Program conducted by Royal Bhutan Police in rendering community services.
