Please let me take this opportunity to introduce myself to you as a potential employee to your company. My name is Zac Jenkins and I am looking for an Electrical apprenticeship. The reason I would like to become an Electrician is due to my interests in how circuits and electricity works. I also really want to set myself up with a trade for life and set a better future for my family.
I have a current Queensland Learners drivers license and will be completing my White Card in Construction as apart of my Certificate.
I started my Certificate II in Electro technology (Career Start) in January 2022. I would like to gain exposure and experience in many different areas of the electrical field, including some commercial, industrial and domestic areas. Since starting my working career, I have accepted all opportunities to challenge myself at work and to gain a wider range of experience and knowledge. I am quite capable to work independently on set jobs and enjoy the opportunity of more challenging tasks.
I have gained skills using the following tools:
Cordless Grinder (grinding and cutting discs), Cordless Power Drill, Hand saw, Wire Strippers, Copper/Metal tube cutter, Sockets (including spark plug), basic hand tools including : Screw drivers , ratchet spanners, spanners, shifters, wrenches, hammer, pliers
I am available to work a full time week with overtime being an arranged option. I have my own reliable vehicle. I consider myself to be a positive, reliable and responsible individual and I enjoy working as part of a team. I believe I have all the necessary attributes and will ensure I deliver results should I be appointed a position with your company.
