My Current responsibilities include managing a team of 6, 3 of which are 2nd year fitters. Working in a plant requires level headedness and quick thinking so production does not slow or stop, Being the 1st point of call for all team members I have great communication skills and act proactively to ensure breakdowns take priority, my team’s safety is paramount as we are working around Compressors, motors, conveyors, augers, heights, meat processing tools and Cold conditions (-20 in the holding freezers).Conducted regular performance evaluations and provided constructive feedback to team members, contributing to professional growth and development.
During my time at Podium Motorcycle Developments, my roles varied from Customer service to helping in the workshop working on motorbikes. My Boss was often away with his Race Team, I would stay at the shop to make sure customers can collect or drop of their motorbikes and take bookings.
With a Passion for motorcycles, I gained employment working with Caboolture Yamaha, family owned and operated for over 25 years. I enjoyed helping customers with their spare parts and accessory needs. With general mechanical knowledge, I’d problem solve motorcycle engine and maintenance issues. Working in a small team with Yamaha spare parts and accessories often my job role will vary depending on customers and employers needs.
Family owned and operated premium Strawberry, Raspberry, Blue Berry & Capsicum farm., Main focus of the supervisors’ role is to instruct and train up to 40 packers of quality control and loss prevention, This is gained by very carefully filling the containers with only the best quality fruit and using the seconds fruit to be put aside for jams and waste depending on the quality. Although this may not seem hard, it requires you to be extremely agile, quick thinking, fit and capable of being on your feet all day in a busy environment
Being a Truck Rental Manager, my main objective was to capture as much revenue as possible, through promoting upgrades, insurances and other general offers to new and existing customers.
During my employment with Vincent Daily Rentals, I was responsible for managing and coaching 8 staff members, this included 4 direct employees as well as a rental assistant and 3 divers. My purpose was to operate the branch at a safe and profitable level, whilst ensuring the customers were the upmost priority through relentless customer focus. My role involved direct supervising, coaching and mentoring all staff. I conducted in group training sessions and ensured that all staff are engaged at all times.
While employed with Somerton Motor Company as an apprentice, my role as apprentice was to become familiar and confident on working with and maintaining all types of vehicles.
With strong motivation I completed my apprenticeship and was able to continue to use my skills and knowledge to ensure my daily tasks were complete.
