Aaron Farmer

For the past 3 years I worked in and around the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

Here it was my job as Store Supervisor to:

• Supervise daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and optimal staff performance.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance customer service skills and product knowledge.
• Implement inventory management practices, reducing stock discrepancies and improving availability.
• Coordinate visual merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and drive sales growth.

When it came to event days within the stadium it was then my role to:

• Merchandise multiple shop units that we had throughout the grounds.
• Maintain stock levels throughout event season. Ensuring maximum sales could be achieved across all units.
• Compare previous event seasons sales data, in order to distribute stock between the units depending on foot fall.
• On event days, it was then my role to keep communication between my teams constant. In case there were any issues or any extra stock was required.

For almost 3 years I’ve been performing for live audiences back in the UK and now I’m brining it to Australia.

• Self taught guitarist/vocalist, providing a wide range of music to audiences of all ages.
• Composed original music for live performances and recordings, showcasing creativity and technical skills.
• Collaborated with other musicians to arrange and rehearse sessions for future performances.
• Lead Open Mic Nights around my local area in Wales. Encouraging musicians from all walks of life to get involved.
• Managed sound equipment setup and maintenance, ensuring optimal audio quality during live events.

Over 5 years, I worked as a part time bartender in the very busy New Garden Chinese Restaurant in Aberkenfig. I worked every Friday and Saturday night whilst finishing my education. As well as doing odd jobs throughout the night to help the full time staff out, my main role was to manage the bar. Making drinks, serving them to customers, collecting and cleaning glasses and keeping the bar stocked up.

For 2 years I helped out at my local youth club every other Friday evening. I assisted a team of adults to entertain a large group of 10 to 14 year olds with activities such as basketball, football, snooker, table tennis and video gaming. Other duties within this role include buying items for the nights activities and manning the tuck shop.
