Working at Ampol has to do with serving others, your appearance, attitude, and your availability as well.

I always do the morning shift, which is opening, and set things ready before the customers arrive in the morning.

I count my cash flow before I start my sales.

Cook pies, and see that the coffee machine is ready to be used, top up cups and sugar, and see that there's enough milk in the machine.

Restock some of the items that need to be on the shelves.

Refill the cool room with more cold drinks.

Sign off from the poss machine. And count my cash float for the day to be balanced before another team member comes in.

• I helped this young lady, who lived with her parents, clean her apartment.
• Clean the toilet.
• Vacuuming the house, and throwing her rubbish away.
• I also sometimes get to talk with her, and just to cheer her up.
• Take her dirty clothes to their laundry room, as her mother will do the washing.
• I changes her bed spread if I see that its too dirty.
