Project Engineer - Timber EelNet, Lattice Steel System and Cladding at Tunnel Portals

Site Establishment:

• Timber Oil Coating Booth Setup (Including Temp Mechanical and Electrical Design and Install) - Hazardous Substance application along with associated OH&S and QA documentation.
• Plant Selection (Cranegae/Forks/Telehandlers)
• Amenities

Design:

• Input into design changes for buildability.
• RFIs to suppliers and Designers for changes and/or rectification of defective or damaged products.

Procurement:

• Fixing Procurement due to Design Changes.
• Glue Lam Timber HD Bolts
• Shims throughout EelNet Structures
• Offsite reworks for defective products
• 
  

Logistics:

• Hardstand Setout and Yard co-ordination for Timber and Steel Assembly.
• Logistics of 700 tonnes of Glulam Timber, 400 tonnes of structural steel and 5000+ RHS/CHS elements for the Lattice from Port of Melbourne to Laydown Yard and then to site once assembled. Including Unpacking/sorting and sending out material.
• Oversize/Over Mass Transport.
• NHVR and Department of Transport Coordination/Approvals.
• Load Detailing
• Traffic Control MoA and Traffic Control Setup Coordination to minimise personal.
• Traffic Signal Removal and reinstatement for oversize loads.
• Traffic Signage removal and reinstatement for oversize loads.
• Temp works design and procurement (dunnage and craneage accessories-Crawler Crane Ramps).

Supervision:

• Direct Supervising 30+ men across 5 work fronts with multiple cranes and scopes.
• Fabrication workshop of 10 persons to reworks. Under CC3 Compliant Conditions
• 6 Riggers for Diagrid Preassembly
• 4 Carpenters for Cladding Extrusion install
• 1 x 250t Crane Crew for Steel Preassembly
• 1 x 120t Crew Crew for Timber Preassembly
• 4 Riggers for Timber Preassembly
• Up to 10 Riggers/carpenters doing reworks.
• General Logistics
• IR Resolution

Commercial:

• Manage and forecast $22,000,000 scope + assist in $50,000,000.

I was apart of a team that was brought on by CDC (Canberra Data Centres) to help assit Total Construction getting the project to completion.

Reviewing and Co-orindating Architectural Fit Out i.e. Doors, Door Hardware, Tiling, Plastering, Paint, Security Interface and other service trade fitoff.

Supervison for a complex fitout start to finish of multiple stages within the project (Note this project was in Live Operating Pharmaceutical Facility).

Detailed Demoliton of Live Electrical, sandwhich panel and structural Steel.

Co-ordinate Install of Large complex pharamsuitacal production equipment (Cranage/Rigging and finishes) i.e. Building the project around the equiopment post install as the eqipiment was larger than the rooms.

Co-ordinate Rough-In, Sandwhich Panel Install, Epoxy Flooring, Joinery Install, Caulking and Detailed Cleaning.

Foreman - For both of the two Maximum Secuirty Management Units (Celled Units 22 Cells Each).

Co-Ordinated two buildings from Metal Deck Roofing, Internal Framing, Roughin Corordination/Clash Resolution, Fire Rating, Acoustics, Joinery Install, Service/Security Fit Off to Final Commisioning and Defect Management for the entire proejct.
