Career Goals

My current goal in my career is to obtain a position in the next BFORT intake and graduate as an APS3 General Duties Officer, whereby my driving force to excel in BFORT is to then gain experiences and opportunities necessary to achieve my ultimate career goal, in which is to achieve a position within the Field and Removals Team. This drive comes from my passion for law enforcement, whilst also bringing my empathy, effective communication skills and proactive attitude into what can be very confronting situations and protecting Australia's borders.

Many of the roles I have proactively volunteered to take on during my time with the ABF I thoroughly enjoy and has further opened my eyes to the various career paths and opportunities I could endeavour as an APS3 General Duties Officer upon graduation. From the commencement of my time in the ABF I have embodied the APS Values and Code of Conduct, I am confident in my abilities to support the organisations objectives and I believe I am suitable and qualified for the advertised role.
