My name is Alexis, I am 24 years old and I'm from Canada.
I have been in Australia for just over a year and throughout my stay, i did many different jobs and met many different people. Hospitality is the career that I chose as I like to be close with guest and bring them a smile, just like they did to me when I first arrived in Australia. I'm eager to work and I'm fun to be with. I think I could bring the best out of me with this job and hopefully. the best out of other people too. Thank you.
Tasks:
-Greeting guests as they arrive and depart from the hotel.
-Helping guest with their luggage if needed.
-Check-in and out depending on how busy the receptionists are.
-Valet cars for guest. ( Full driving license )
-Helping the concierge with admin work
-Resolving issues around the hotel.
Achievements:
-Received a 90+ Score on the last LQA for the Concierge department at Pullman.
-Helped 2 guests after a car accident receiving high praises with my hotel management.
-Never called sick and picked shifts in many different departments in the hotel proving my skills and my reliability.
Tasks:
-Greet and escort guests to rooms.
-Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property.
-Assist with parking and retrieving guests' vehicles.
-Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
-Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services).
-Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area.
-Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
-Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage.
-Supply guests with directions. Arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service) for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation request as needed.
-Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors
Tasks:
-Greeting and serving customers using the POS.
-Helping the kitchen when needed.
-Opening and closing the Cafe proving my time management and eagerness to work.
-Receiving orders from the suppliers.
Achievements:
-After 1 week of formation, I already knew everything I had to know showing my good memory.
-Learned new skills in an efficient way such as coffee making and sandwich preparation.
Tasks:
-Planting, Cutting , Picking and Packing Strawberries
- Driving co-workers to and back from work.
-Using a trolley and different tools to get the job done.

- One of the fastest workers so i got a money reward.

-Keeping cleanliness around the working grounds
-Planting and cutting trees/plants/flowers
-Repairing asphalt when the road is damaged

-Supervised and coordinated the activities of grounds maintenance staff to ensure completion of daily tasks.
Achievement:
During Covid-19, as we were missing a lot of employees and nobody wanted to work, I, as the supervisor, worked overtime for a whole winter with 2 of my colleagues and we won an awards at the company next company meeting.
Tasks:
-Organized venues, budgets, guest lists, catering and event timelines.
-Working on a tight deadline to achieve our goals.
-Meeting with contractors and sponsors to explain how the work is done.
-Managing paychecks and employee roster.
-We delivered, built and moved Marquees everywhere in Quebec. I have experience driving all sorts of machines and I have good physical condition to lift heavy charges. I was in charge of a team of 14 peoples
Achievements :
We always respected the deadlines so the sponsors have us free tickets for the main concert of the year with a promise of partnership for any future event.
