For the past 12 years, my main hobby has been playing Japanese Taiko Drums in Cairns and attending numerous workshops in Australia and Japan In 2018, I was invited to tour England with the Japanese Youth Taiko Band I was the first non-resident of Japan to succeed in doing this I was directing a team in Cairns and teaching my fellow team members how to drum! I was also in the Cairns Brass Band as a percussionist I competed around Australia representing Cairns for 6 years
