- Operate Diamond DA40 aircraft and FRASCA flight simulator, instructing and evaluating undergraduate aviation students enrolled at UNSW.
- Conduct flight training in Diamond DA40 aircraft for the RPL, PPL and CPL syllabus, as well as Basic Instrument Flight training and pre-licence assessment up to a CPL standard.
- Utilise scenario-based training methods for real-world problem solving, preparing students for unexpected challenges during flights.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, using past records & assessments to adjust instruction strategies as required.
- Assist Head of Aircraft Airworthiness and Maintenance Control in monitoring fleet serviceability and conducting approved pilot maintenance.
- Deliver briefings in a classroom environment to students undertaking initial, navigation and commercial phases of training
- Observe and evaluate students' progress and performance to determine progression, provide feedback, and make suggestions for improvement.
