Dr. Wenkai Chang is a currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Advanced Carbon Fibre Composites in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia. He received his bachelor's degree (1st class honours) in mechanical engineering from RMIT University in 2018, clinching the John Grant Holmes Memorial Prize, awarded to the best mechanical engineering student, and completed his Ph.D. at UNSW in 2023. His research focuses on advanced composite technologies for engineering applications in extreme environments. He is currently conducting his postdoctoral research on the nano-engineering of advanced carbon fibre composites for liquid hydrogen storage, with a particular focus on hybrid toughening and anti-leakage design.
