  • I am responsible for attitudes and behaviours in and out of the work place, health and safety targets, leaks per hour targets, operability and driving behaviours whilst improving leakage levels on a yearly basis within my given area of Leicestershire
  • Operability is data we receive from a logger that receives data from the water meters in the field, each District meter has a device called a logger which records the pressure and flow going into that district meter area and sends of a signal to our office giving us that information that the DMA is currently doing and our results are governed by this data
  • My current operability is at 97.5% for the whole of my 22 DMA areas it is my responsibility to maintain, improve and fix any faults that occur on these loggers
  • I have to maintain levels of 91% or above to record my performance
  • I assist other team members when they are on annual leave or training as we are also measured as a whole team for perfoance
  • My current leakage levels are at an all time 4 year low with leaks becoming harder to find due to there being fewer to find so I have to look at new ways to achieve given leakage levels and find these high users and carry out data cleanse and achieve the best levels for my team and as an indidual.

Fishing mad

A little about me as a person

I grown up running around in our local quarry catching rabbits with a sling shot or a air rifle getting chased by the big digger drivers who sometimes caught me gave me a clip "round the ear hole" with another belting when I got home sometimes from my brother who would was the one who was with me but got back. I got into allot of fights growing up because I would stick up for the kids being bullied and it was happening a lot when I was at school. Sports was football &  cricket played to a good level when I was young with also taking up boxing & Tai Kwon do.

I am renting out part of a lovely house by the water in Woy Woy bay with Sue & Jeff.

Jeff is retired now as time gets us all, he used to work for the police force as a Chief detective inspector in QLD.

he and Sue are both lovely I like them very much as they remind me of my grandparents back home a little.

Outside of work my passion is fishing, Especially now I am living in Australia which in my opinion arguable the best country on the planet, England isn't for everyone.

I hold nature close to my heart to me everything is treated as I would like to be treated, I have old fashioned values as a person, I respect my elders I will hold the door for others and say please and thank you.  My grandad Dennis fought in WWII who got shot three times and survived.  I had two uncles who was part of the UK police force back in the day when a "good hiding was allowed" sadly they passed away by drowning at sea. I have 8 relatives who live in Australia and yet to meet them so this is on my to do list
