  • I was approached by my Retail Operations Manager on a visit, where he extended the opportunity to move to Sydney for a Regional Support role. This is a huge achievement given I was an Assistant Store Manager that hadn't stepped into a Store Manager role or managed a flagship store - which is the usual progression for an on-road Regional.
  • Went through 6 weeks of training, relocated to Sydney where I stepped into a 9 week leave cover of NSW Area Manager.
  • While in the support role I worked collaboratively with my Regional Sales Manager to increase sales, monitor wages and costs within the Region, train and mentor Managers and their teams to successfully operate their stores.
  • Interview applicants and successfully place them in roles based on their strengths, mentor and guide them to give them the best chance to succeed in their positions.
  • Implement strategies to decrease stocktake results.

  • Alongside the Store Manager, we were able to reduce stocktake results drastically with high levels of customer service and the implementation of strong loss prevention tactics.
