Currently a 5th year Optometry student in final year of University. Employed at OPSM TTP as an optical dispenser as a casual. Have experience in the retail optical industry for more than 3 years from working at Specsavers and OPSM. I aim to employ the skills and experience acquired from working in the optical industry to deliver utmost eye healthcare as an Optometrist.

I volunteered to do work experience at Dernancourt primary school in 2016 as part of school requirements. The volunteering involved liaising with subject teachers to identify students' area of weaknesses and providing additional learning resources. Showing leadership and initiative by providing ongoing support to each student through consolidating knowledge to enhance a student's overall understanding of a subject., Effective communication with students to build a positive relationship and foster open dialogue. Identifying student's individual and collective learning needs and planning, preparing and delivering instruction designed to capture students' interest and maximize individual learning. Creating a collaborative learning environment with students of varying backgrounds while building an atmosphere of respect and rapport.
