Key Responsibilities:

• Assist various trades in building, remedial and faced upgrade works for commercial and industrial

jobs including roofing, water proofing and brick laying

• Utilise Light Vehicles and trailers to transport workers and equipment to and from the job sites,

driving safely to conditions and adhering to all road rules and regulations, performing daily pre start

on vehicles such as checking tyre pressure, oil and fluid levels and lights

• Utilise various tools and equipment such as drills, grinders, shovels, concrete mixers, grinders,

polishers, power trowels, high-pressure cleaners, rollers, brooms, hoses, screeds and

wheelbarrows replacing tools and equipment at the end of the shift

• Adhere to all safe work procedures including barricading of the work site, rubbish removal, clearing

and reporting all hazards, using the correct signage, performing traffic management duties,

spotting of machinery, using effective two-way radio communication and using the correct P.P.E

for the task

• Ensure full compliance with all site and company safety procedures including operating as per

JHAs, SOPs and hazard identification and reporting and participating in morning pre start safety
