Prior to my role in Digital, I worked on the phone answering general insurance queries and assisting customers with updating their policies.

  • At TGI Fridays I was in charge of running the Expo, my job was to direct the service assistants on where the food that comes up needs to go, this demonstrates my ability to direct and run a team.
  • I never ran out of things to do and am used to working in a fast paced environment.
  • Another part of my job was communicating with the chefs, I must let them know if any food needs to be remade and if the table served requires anything further, this requires clear communication skills, so the chefs can understand exactly what must be done.
  • I also had to know the menu so I can ensure that each dish that is sent has the correct garnish, sauce and sides to do this I need to have a great memory and an eye for detail.
  • If I did not have a service assistant then I sometimes had to run the Expo, the food and communicate with the chefs, this proves I am an excellent multitasker, all while providing quality customer service.
