This was a full-time position I undertook subsequent to the completion of my studies in High School as a casual employee. Throughout my tenure as a casual employee, I diligently worked extensive hours, consistently demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic. This experience ultimately propelled me into a full-time management role, wherein my responsibilities encompassed the following:

• Enforced customer service standards and resolved customer problems to uphold quality service.
• Coached, mentored and trained team members in order to improve their job performance.
• Provided leadership during times of organizational change or crisis situations.
• Scanning and organizing pallets onto roll cages within their respective aisles for fillers.
• Securing the premises and activating all alarms upon closing.
• Accepting, receiving, and unloading deliveries.
• Assigned tasks to associates to fit skill levels and maximize team performance.
• Conducted regular meetings with staff to discuss progress and identify areas of improvement.
• Creating weekly rosters for the team and performing general office duties.
• Conducting stock take of supplies and procuring replacements as necessitated by the business.
• Ensuring that my team adhered to safety requirements.
• Overseeing a team of up to 16 employees.
