  • Time management - Teaching is fundamentally about time management. You develop action plans and expected outcomes for a future period, while also adapting this plan as new information arises.
  • Organisation of my own, and others’, time was an inherent responsibility of my role, and taught me how to manage the changeable details in long, and short, term projects with minimal disruption to daily tasks.
  • Planning and Organisational - As I was responsible for myself and my class, I developed skills and techniques to maximise my time. One of these was effective planning, which allowed me to realistically assess the timing and outcomes of units of work, and account for issues to resolve.
  • Organisation was key to realising the potential of these plans, as the clear guidelines provided a checkpoint to assess progression towards the planned outcomes.
