Michael Joseph Stephens

Goulburn,NSW

Summary

I joined NSW corrective services in July 2008. After completing my primary training at Brush Farm Corrective Services Academy I was posted to Wellington Correctional Centre. Here I completed my probationary period. During this period was able to learn numerous and varied skills that I have since utilised in my career up until this very day. At Wellington I was able to learn and put into practice the department’s operational policies and procedures. I built good positive relationships with both staff and inmates.

In April 2010 I was able to obtain a transfer to Goulburn Correctional Complex. Here I have continued my learning and put into practice the stills I have developed. I continue to have a very positive relationship with staff and inmates. I plan to continue to work in a professional manner as I progress further through my career.
