• Utilised Turnitin's Authorship software to analyse suspected academic misconduct cases
• Conducted interviews and authentication of learning activities with students suspected of academic misconduct
• Provided advice and support to students being investigated for academic misconduct, ensuring that procedural fairness principles were upheld
• Reviewed and addressed attempts by online writing companies to blackmail or report students for contract cheating
• Prepared academic misconduct cases, including cases that involved many assessments across a student's degree, to be heard by the Academic Misconduct Committee
• Developed and delivered education sessions for academics across the Health Faculty on how to detect signs of contract cheating and how to interpret Turnitin Similarity Reports

Project Title: The TeleSwell Study: Exploring the Feasibility of Provider-Assisted Self-Management Program for the Long-Term Management of Lymphoedema

• Under the supervision of Professor Michael Dunne, I conducted a systematic search of the academic literature into all forms of child abuse and developed a summary of the findings in preparation for the writing of a textbook chapter on the international trends in child abuse.

Reporting to Professor Michael Dunne, I conducted a cross-sectional study in collaboration with Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR) to examine the relationship between sexual behaviour and oral human papillomavirus infection in a population of university students.

Responsibilities:

• Conducted research relating to the formation of a comprehensive data collection questionnaire on sexual behaviour
• Wrote a comprehensive data collection questionnaire for the purposes of measuring sexual behaviour
• Compiled inventory of relevant literature in advance of a structured literature review
• Recruited participants for data collection

Project Title: Development and Evaluation of Assessment Model for the Improvement of Resource Allocation to Clinical Services

Under the supervision of Professor Gerard Fitzgerald, I assisted in the research of Ms Susan Mahon for the purpose of a Professional Doctorate in collaboration with the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH).
