As a residential youth worker, I support and mentor young people in a safe and structured environment. My duties include providing emotional support, assisting with daily routines, and encouraging positive behavior. I help develop life skills, facilitate recreational activities, and ensure their well-being. Through patience and guidance, I build trusting relationships, helping them navigate challenges and grow in confidence. This job has given me the ability to strengthen my reporting/documenting qualities as well as helped to improve my strong eye for detail. My successes include seeing young people develop resilience, achieve personal goals, and transition into more independent living. I have the ability to deescalation volatile situations whilst maintaining the safety of others. Every positive change, no matter how small, is a reminder of the impact I make in shaping their future.

As a café barista and bar attendant, I provided excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and preparing high-quality coffee, food and beverages. I operated espresso machines, mix drinks, and ensure all menu items are served efficiently. I maintained cleanliness, restock supplies, and follow hygiene and safety regulations. Handling payments, managing transactions, and assisting with inventory are also part of my role. I worked as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customers have a great experience. My job required strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail to deliver exceptional service every day.
