This role provided opportunity to commence in a brand-new program, responsible for the program’s development and growth in the greater Bendigo region. School Leavers Employment Support (SLES) is an NDIS support designed to support young people as they transition out of formal schooling into future employment. The purpose of this support is to create employment opportunities for participants, provide training and coaching to increase their employability skills and life skills. My core responsibilities in ensuring the continued growth of the program is to maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including participants, family members and carers, community services and employers.
Provide training and assessment for Tourism and Events students from Certificate II up to Advanced Diploma in accordance with the VET Quality Framework (ASQA). This was achieved by developing resources and assessments to support delivery of individual units, whilst developing and maintaining relationships with industry and key government bodies.
Responsible for providing retail and corporate consulting for both domestic and international travel. Involved in the ongoing team contribution of business development at the branch, and the identification and development of marketing opportunities.
