- INDICATION: For first trimester aneuploidy risk assessment. Stated gestation 13 weeks and 3 days determined by provided EDC = 2025-10-31.
- REPORT:
- Single fetus corresponding in size to the usual measurements at 13 weeks 4 days gestation.
- (BPD = 2.7cm; CRL = 7.6cm).
- Normal, regular fetal heart motion was recorded (FHR = 146bpm).
- No abnormality was identified in the fetal head, heart, abdomen, anterior abdominal wall or limbs, within the limitations of an early morphology scan.
- The nuchal translucency measurement is 1.80mm. The nasal bone appears normal.
- The aneuploidy risks are:
- Background (maternal age) Trisomy 21 1: 697 Trisomy 18 1: 1795 Trisomy 13 1: 5605
- Age, NT + NB Trisomy 21 1: 4832 Trisomy 18 1: 6926 Trisomy 13 < 1: 20000
- Mean uterine artery PI = 1.60 (normal).
- The amniotic fluid volume is normal. The placenta is on the anterior uterine wall. The cervix is 3.6cm long and is closed.
- IMPRESSION:
- 1. No unusual features were seen. The fetal size is compatible with dates.
- 2. The adjusted aneuploidy risks using the FMF software with a risk cut off of 1:300 are:
- (a) Trisomy 21 1: 4832 Low Risk
- (b) Trisomy 18 1: 6926 Low Risk
- (c) Trisomy 13 < 1: 20000 Low Risk
- 3. Please note these risks are based maternal age, nuchal translucency measurement and nasal bone only and have a 75% accuracy. Rabia does not wish to have the serum component done.
