Since November 2022 I have been employed at In2Swim, Brookvale as a swimming instructor for children aged 2 1/2 to 13 years old. My instructing was focussed on children becoming confident and feeling safe in the water, progressing to breathing and kicking unassisted and finally perfecting stoke technique in all strokes. Classes sizes would vary from 4 to 8 students in a class depending on their age. On average I would teach up to 25 classes a week and also instruct at the In2Swim Primary School programmes and holiday programmes. Whilst at High School I worked at Manly Corso Ice Creamy where duties included serving customers, handling money (either cash or card), cleaning, being responsible for the running of the shop, training new staff and closing at the end of the night. Attentive Swim Instructor with proven abilities individual and group instruction. Careful about monitoring students to prevent injuries and other emergency situations. Knowledgeable about related equipment and teaching techniques. Certified in First Aid, CPR and water rescue.
