Customer Service: Assisting customers with their inquiries, helping them find products, providing information about products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Sales: Engaging with customers to promote and sell products, upselling and cross-selling items, and meeting sales targets.

Product Knowledge: Maintaining a thorough understanding of the products being sold, including features, benefits, and pricing.

Stock Management: Assisting with receiving, unpacking, and arranging new stock deliveries; ensuring stock levels are maintained; and conducting inventory checks.

Merchandising: Arranging product displays to attract customers, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are presented neatly and appealingly.

Cash Handling: Operating POS System / cash register, processing sales transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and balancing the till at the end of the shift.

Opening and closing of premises and associated security, as well as security of cash

Performance: Working towards weekly and monthly sales targets, both as a team and individually.

Rostering: Coordinated and adjusted rosters according to other team members needs.

Event Planning & Participation: Assisting with in-store events, product launches, and seasonal promotions.

Family Business: Helped out on Saturdays when needed or short staffed. No longer working there as I need to concentrate on my last few months of VCE.

• Checked in customers for appointments and notified stylists of clients' arrival.
• Assisted with sweeping up hair and wiping down stations to keep salon clean and sanitary.
• Performed relaxing head and scalp massages for customers.
• Processed payments, took appointments and assisted with management of flow of patron visits when needed.

Unfortunately due to Covid lockdowns I was unable to continue assisting in the salon, so I concentrated on school work.
