Bimodal Biometric Identification and Verification System Using Rank-Level Fusion

In this project, I presented a Bi-Modal Recognition System that exploits two modalities namely face and
fingerprint recognition. For face recognition, the subjects’ faces were constructed using Eigen image and FLD.

Analysis of Multimodal Biometric Systems (Base Paper)
The system utilizes principal component analysis and Fisher’s linear discriminant
methods for individual matchers (face, ear, and signature) identity authentication and utilizing the
novel rank-level fusion method in order to consolidate the results obtained from different biometric
matchers.

Gait Recognition System (UG Project)
The basic functionality of the software is to have a camera capture a video of a person’s
gait which is sent to a system. Once the video is in the computer, a gait recognition program takes the
video and converts into multiple frames and trained to the system. From there the silhouette is analyzed
and features are stored in the files. The current features are compared with the stored features to find the
best match.
