Summary

I have 9 years’ experience as a Prison Officer and Acting Senior Officer and in that time, I have worked at Casuarina Prison and worked at Acacia Prison.

As well as working in normal General Living Units I have worked in Unit 1 Management Unit, I have worked in Unit 6 Protection Unit and Infirmary/CCU giving me broad based experience of Prison operations.

I have a proven ability to manage and work with difficult prisoners and had to manage many difficult situations with prisoners who are unstable or that had emotional and cultural issues they were unable to deal with in prison.

I am a reliable, highly motivated presentable and experienced Prison Officer, with the ability to demonstrate strong leadership and organising skills, which have been developed over a long period of time working in pressure situations, where demanding schedule is of a common occurrence.

I am an individual who recognises the benefits to be gained through strong effective teamwork. As a team member I will always maintain and promote operational standards as well as promote a good safer working environment for the good order and safety of the prison, staff, and prisoners.
