As a member of the Ability team, I aspire to make a difference in the lives of those with disability through providing clients with opportunities in the community that promote accessibility and fairness. My specific job involves 1v1 sessions to participants with a variety of abilities and ages, while also being heavily involved in their families to ensure there was a trusting relationship. I provide regular transport to and from appointments, participate in at home activities to help develop their fine motor skills, and regular walks or outdoor sports to help with fitness, strength and coordination.

A hands on labour job involving garden and other landscape operations, such as mowing and edging lawns, hedging, weeding, planting, removal of trees, mulching, hard rubbish removal, irrigaton and complete garden makeovers. More recently I started assisting with the businesses administration. This involved dealing with emails from new and past customers, arranging the laborers daily schedule, and briefly touching on finance using the application 'Xero'.

A weekly 12 hour shift supporting a 20 year old boy with Septo-optic Dysplasia and no sight. I provided respectful and considerate care with showering, feeding, toileting and cleaning. This experience working with a complex needs client who is non verbal and blind has opened up my mind to coming up with creative activities to engage the other senses that leads to playing with sensory toys and games, regular swimming and going on long walks.

My position at witchery required a strong focus on customer service with a passion for problem solving and solutions for customer satisfaction. From greeting customers, to the final steps of processing their purchase, I provided a memorable experience through actively engaging and connecting with customers. This role required an integral contribution to stock unpacking, handling and packaging of online orders within a limited timeframe to meet the fast online turnovers and stock availability. Money handling and end of day services and reporting were crucial within the role, and successful completion of tasks is of high priority.

Casual position at Mr Potato, Glenelg. Position involved, handling food, customer service, cleaning, training new staff, responsible for opening and closing store and end of day till count.

Annually, coaching U13 girls at Brighton Lacrosse Club, regularly teaching physical education at Brighton Primary School and helping at primary school SAPSASA sports tournaments.

Casual position at Ergo Cafe Westfield Marion which involved general customer service skills, cash register operation, handling of money, cleaning and working with food.
