  • Manage Brisbane Water Police District's administration inbox daily as well as handling and delegating physical mail that is received at various times during the day
  • Facilitate all streams of communication between internal and external stake holders, as well as correspond effectively with sworn officers operating within Brisbane Water's Police District
  • Accurately store information among various applications, both digitally and physically, as well as adapting new procedures and methods when required or requested by Senior Leadership
  • Ensure all Police Stations within the District are adequately stocked with relevant supplies as dictated by policies and procedures, whilst also adhering to strict financial budgets determined by Management
  • Organise and facilitate both internal and external meetings, taking of meeting minutes, and preparation of any catering for these events as required
  • Prepare and compile court lists accurately and under strict timeframes for all criminal court proceedings appearing at Gosford Local Court
  • Liaise with various departments within the NSW Police Force to ensure compliance is strictly adhered to and the production of important documents such as briefs, legal representations, subpoenas and gipas are actioned within the given timeframe
  • Assist station officers in taking Police reports for customers on the front counter, as well as ensuring customers with daily bail compliance are recorded accurately and that their information is current
  • Create professional reports and letters for both internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on ensuring the documents are aligned with organisational standards and are secured with appropriate clearance macros

Key Achievements:

  • Assisted the Executive Officer in organising and facilitating the Central Coast's 2023 NSW Police Remembrance Day, hosted by the Brisbane Water Police District.
  • Successfully cleared a backlog of monthly vehicle diary reports from as early as February 2021, all of which had not been recorded into the NSW Police Mainframe as per corporate requirements.
  • Successfully finalized a large portion of physical records dating back to the early 2000s, most of which needed to be updated in digital systems and prepared for either destruction or further safe keeping in the Record Repository Unit.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service for people all over New South Wales making both non-urgent and urgent telephone enquiries to Police
  • Receive and assess critical information within short timeframes, and ensure this information is accurately relayed to appropriate stakeholders and associates
  • Generate, collate and update secure record systems with current information on persons of interest, locations of interest, and more, in order to improve NSW Police Force's overall response and efficiency
  • Exercise empathy, professionalism, integrity and discernment when handling life threatening emergencies on the Triple Zero line
  • Identify strange, unusual, and newsworthy reports and follow strict procedures with the assistance and guidance of Team Supervisors during these critical events
  • Create detailed police reports and events in a timely manner for customers reporting crime on the Police Assistance Line

Key Achievements:

  • Notable email of appreciation from PoliceLink's intelligence unit for triaging an urgent triple zero call where there was little information provided and time was of the essence. With the assistance of my Supervisor, we acted quickly and were able to get urgent help to the person of interest within minutes.
