At 17, I started in the aquatic industry as a swimming instructor at WestSwim, and then later I secured a position at Terry Tyzack, working across three centres. Swiftly promoted to Deck Attendant, I coordinated afternoon swimming lessons, showcasing my organisational and leadership skills.
Developing a strong preference for Scarborough Beach Pool, I enjoyed the positive work environment and the unique aspect of working by the beach. Over a couple of years, I formed meaningful relationships with colleagues and later in 2019, I transitioned to lifeguarding. Now I currently enjoy working in both swim teaching and lifeguarding that I believe showcases my dedication and management experience.
