I am currently a second-year nursing student studying a Bachelor of Nursing at Western Sydney University. In 2023, I completed a Diploma of Nursing through TAFE NSW and hold a current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse Division 2 and hold a current first aid certificate. Due to extensive experience, through work placements and retail jobs, I am a punctual and hardworking individual that is reliable, organised and tidy. I have the ability to work both supervised and unsupervised. Since gaining my first job in 2017, I have gained experience and continue to improve my customer service skills daily as well as my skills in cash handling and merchandising.

I am a caring and compassionate nurse/student nurse who is well-versed in anatomy and physiology, nursing fundamentals and medical terminology. I respond to emergencies quickly, with grace and a calm mentality. During placements, I have demonstrated success in delivering superior care to multiple patients, balanced with high-volume task loads and successfully build rapport and trust with my patients.

Westmead Hospital, Westmead, 2023:

• Placed and worked on the Gastroenterology and Toxicology ward for 4 weeks and worked as a student enrolled nurse.
• Provided nursing treatment to patients with excellent care due to extensive knowledge gained from my enrolled nurse training. This included but was not limited to wound care, collecting and monitoring vitals, writing progress notes, giving and receiving handover, assisting patient's with ADL's, performing admissions and discharges, answering call bells and collaborating and working as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Prepared and administered medications including oral, intramuscular, intravenous and subcutaneous medications.
• General cleaning and upkeep of hospital ward and supplies. .

Nepean Private Hospital, Kingswood, 2023:

• Placed and worked on Day Surgery, Women's Health, Surgical/Ortho and Medical Ward during the 3 weeks and worked as a student enrolled nurse.
• Provided nursing treatment to patients with excellent care due to extensive knowledge gained from my enrolled nurse training. This included but was not limited to working under the supervision of an RN, wound care, collecting and monitoring vitals, writing progress notes, giving and receiving handover, assisting patient's with ADL's, performing admissions and discharges, answering call bells, preparing patients for day surgeries and collaborating and working as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• General cleaning and upkeep of hospital ward and supplies.

Nepean Public Hospital, Kingswood, 2023:

• Placed and worked on Rehabilitation Ward for 4 weeks and worked as a student enrolled nurse.
• Provided nursing treatment to patients with excellent care due to extensive knowledge gained from my enrolled nurse training. This included but was not limited to working under the supervision on an RN, collecting and monitoring vitals, writing progress notes, giving and receiving handover, assisting patient's with ADL's including showering and toileting, answering call bells and collaborating and working as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Hunter Valley Private Hospital, Hunter Valley, 2019:

• Treatment of day patients with excellent care due to extensive knowledge gained from my assistant in nursing training.
• Worked in the role of an AIN, this included but was not limited to assisting nurses and helping with patient's ADL's including showering and toileting, collecting and monitoring vital signs, writing progress notes, working as a part of the multidisciplinary team.

Whiddon Largs Aged Care Facility, Largs, 2019:

• Treatment of aged care patients with excellent care due to extensive knowledge gained from my assistant nursing training.
• Worked in the role of an AIN, this included but was not limited to assisting nurses and helping with patient's ADL's including showering and toileting, collecting and monitoring vital signs, writing progress notes, working as a part of the multidisciplinary team.

Tanilba Bay Greencross Veterinary Hospital, Tanilba Bay 2018-2019:

• Worked closely with a variety of animals providing care and comfort as well as assisting the nurses and vets.
• General cleaning and care for a variety of animals.
• Equipment and supply restock and upkeep.
• Assistant in animal surgeries and recovery.
• General upkeep of cleanliness in the clinic.

Year 10 Work Experience

• Successfully completed work experience at Blacktown Hospital (03/23/15 - 03/27/15). Completed work experience in Patient Discharge Unit and Medical Assessment Unit, assisting in patient care and medical stock supply.

Year 10-12 Performance Groups

• Participated and assisted in school productions in areas including costume, props, lighting, sound, show setup and packdown. Assisted teachers with running musical theatre and choir rehearsals including contributions to performance and production.
