• Ensured the effective delivery of injury management and claims administration services to multiple business divisions for up to 40 claims and injuries at any given time.
• Supported the line manager in providing advice and guidance on legislative and statutory obligations in relation to workers compensation and injury management.
• Assisted managers and supervisors to develop and implement graduated return to work plans for all injuries

• Provided injured employees with information that explains the WorkCover system, compensation benefits, claim determination process and the business' policies and procedures for supporting injured employees.

Provided back office support to the Workers Compensation Manager and Injury Management Advisors by coordinating the exchange of data and documentation between stakeholders and maintaining injury and claim records within the business' database.

• Online lodgement of workers compensation claims in line within relevant legislative and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with Workers Compensation Administration Team on calculation of weekly compensation rate.
• Processed Workcover compensation payments, making sure payments only occurred where liability is accepted or provisionally accepted and for claims with lost time, with valid medical certificate
• Supported Injury Management Advisor and Workers Compensation Manager to develop, implement and maintain injury management information and training programs to heighten awareness of injury management issues and develop branch management capability to support injured employees.
