    • As a member of the Executive Management Team, I am responsible for the capital investment process of in excess of $500M of projects. I lead a team of professionals responsible for planning, building, and delivery of operational and commercial infrastructure at both airports. I developed and executed strategy that took the Airport from restrictive local planning scheme and delivered the declaration of Priority Development Area, which under state government recognises the Airport as a significant regional asset and its valuable role in creating opportunities for business, employment and tourism.

  • Responsible for landside planning at Brisbane Airport, leading a team that influenced sustainable planning and design outcomes for ground transport, land use, and airport infrastructure. I was responsible for the Brisbane Airport 2020 Master Plan, driving all components of the portfolio to deliver a modern and fresh approach to master planning in Australian Aviation. I led a complex two-year programme which engaged with over 1500 stakeholders and partners from Airlines, tenants, strategic industry partners, all levels of government and community.

The project had a value of $110M and successfully delivered an extensive upgrade to the junction of two of Brisbane's busiest transport corridors under a Collaborative Project Agreement (CPA) contract.

  • Delivering large infrastructure and building projects at Europe's leading hub airport, Heathrow as both a contractor and client project manager.
  • I led a large group of construction teams for a sizeable UK contractor that was instrumental in the development of a retail maintenance and refurbishment framework with a national supermarket chain producing margins of up to 20% during the GFC.
  • Member of a senior management team that developed an innovative behavioural safety programme from a standing start and rolled out to several hundred direct employees and a large supply chain.
  • Successfully led and delivered Brisbane Airports Master Plan, a key legislative and strategic document, providing a refreshed perspective to the long-term planning outcomes for the largest airport, by land size in Australia.
  • Significant collaboration with local and state governments to influence change to planning environment for Australia's fastest growing airport, with the declaration of the region shaping Priority Development Area (PDA).
